ACOG Hub Study – Santa Fe Depot
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

TAP ARCHITECTURE provided architectural and design services for the planning and conceptual design of the Association of Central Oklahoma Government’s (ACOG) Intermodal Transportation Hub Study in downtown Oklahoma City. TAP attended multiple public and Advisory committee meetings in support of Jacobs Engineering as they reviewed and analyzed existing planning and engineering studies including TAP‘s own City of Oklahoma City Core-to-Shore redevelopment framework. Jacobs facilitated the selection of a preferred site for a transit hub to accommodate convergence of multiple transportation modes to serve an evolving transit system.

TAP created character sketches for the preferred location recommendation: the Historic 1930′s Santa Fe Depot on the existing Burlington Northern – Santa Fe rail line between Bricktown and the Central Business District. Santa Fe Depot served as a passenger station until the 1970′s after which has been an Amtrak terminal and a venue for public and private events.
