Edmond 66 Park Concession
Edmond, Oklahoma

Drawing its inspiration from iconic mid-century gas stations, this park concession on the old Route 66 in Edmond, Oklahoma pays homage to the rest and refreshment offered to travelers in the heyday of the Mother Road. Working for City of Edmond Parks Department, and teamed with Jacobs Engineering, TAP ARCHITECTURE’s graphics and design wizard Daniel Douthit has had a grand time morphing the typical box-shaped park concession into a design that speaks of decades of American fun and adventure.
