Nichols Hills Residence
TAP ARCHITECTURE has been retained to design a guest enclave for a very discerning client in Nichols Hills, Oklahoma. At the owner’s request, the picturesque grouping respects the precedent established by the Mediterranean architecture of the estate’s main residence. The project, being designed by Dennis Hairston, AIA, includes a guest house and adjoining carriage house. Meticulous attention is being given to every detail with focus on the highest quality materials and craftsmanship.
Construction is currently progressing on the 1,200 square foot carriage house; featuring exposed heavy timber framing, custom carriage doors, clay tile roof and limestone ashlar exterior. Completion of the carriage house is anticipated in early 2012, with construction of the 3,000 square foot cottage to follow.
