TAP recently wrapped up construction for the new Station at Central Park to the excited citizens of Moore. The new park is in the heart of Moore along Broadway Avenue.
TAP teamed with RDG Planning and Design and Water’s Edge Aquatic Design to design the facility.
The overall square footage of the park is approximately 50 acres in size, with a Recreation Facility of 60,000 square feet and an Aquatic Facility with a pool, deck and support building, Walking trails, Farmer’s Market Facility, Amphitheater, and much more. Todd Jenson, the City of Moore’s Park and Recreation Director, said “It’s the biggest investment the community has made in our history. I think we’ll have a park system that is really second to none.”
The new Recreation Center comes equipped with basketball courts, volleyball courts, fitness/exercise facilities, running/walking track, community rooms/event hall, specialty studio for hobby and craft classes, aerobics/dance studio and activities for families/kids.
The Aquatic Facility is approximately 30,000 square foot with multiple pools, shades, water slides, lap lanes, lazy river, water/spray features, concession area and a zero-depth entry area.
