National Route 66 Museum

TAParchitecture designed a 5,600sf museum building fronting historic Route 66, located in the Old Town Museum Complex inElk City.  The buildings façade depicts storefronts familiar to the “Mother Road” in the years 1907 through 1950.  The interior exhibits exemplify period vignettes along old Route 66 using authentic memorabilia and vintage automobiles.
