TAP is working with Valliance to foster place-specific architecture where pedestrians feel welcome and the building and its landscape integrate with the north Texas landscape.  This 125,000 square foot design embodies an interest in celebrating the qualities of the McKinney landscape through its colors, scale and sculpted volumes. With thoughtfully designed exterior spaces which give back a sense of vibrancy to the area, and the celebration of the day-to-day human activities taking place inside the building, this design provides all the qualities pedestrian-scaled urban environments demand. The site-specific building form, appropriately-scaled spaces, and rich materials which honestly and elegantly convey the building’s construction, all combine to create a work of architecture with significant merit.
