TAP to Design New Middle School in Little Axe

John E. Ward, AIA, LEED AP of TAP ARCHITECTURE was pleased to report to the Little Axe School Board that bidding for the new Middle School was a stunning success. The new Middle School bid for $1,000,000 below budget.
John reported that TAP ARCHITECTURE received bids from 16 well qualified contractors. Tony Smith, Superintendent for Little Axe Schools was delighted with the outcome which will allow funds for several important and much needed improvements.
The Little Axe School Board wasted little time and authorized a contract for construction between the school district and W. L. McNatt & Company. McNatt manned the site immediately and construction is underway.
Everyone in Little Axe, a district on the east edge of Norman, is looking forward to a June, 2013 completion and the 2013/2014 school year in their new building.
